There was a group of professional photographer, movie director and some students from Japan who spent their time in exposing hill-tribes’ culture and have a corner view of Fair-trade at TTC.It is known that promoting awareness of inter-change culture is one of the missions that TENOHIRA organization has been doing apart from women trafficking issue.
Mr.Keigo Momose, study tour organizer from TENOHIRA said “the group visited to Karen village near by Chiang Mai to see Karen culture and life. Then brought them to TTC show room where handicraft products from villages are sold to provide sustainable income for the tribe people.” Some comments suggested that to have more information of the producers and the product story itself to display on each items.
