“Return to Sender” film crew in Huay Luak





It is a time to see “Real life and Real arts” of Hmong producer group from northern Thailand in Netherlands.

Life is simple with colourful traditional dress and its own beauty among hill-tribes people. Hmong is one of those tribes who rich in cultures and specialized in making Hmong traditional Batik Cloth in multi pattern designs. No more only in hidden jungle but time to bring up their hand made skill to global stage and seeking more markets.

On 23rd July - 2008, with the arrangement and program of “Return to Sender” from Netherlands, Huay Luakk was selected as representative village of Hmong producer groups where TTC is providing Artisans Training. The truth Artisans life and working process of Hmong Batik Cloth production was taken as film story record by “Return to Sender” group during that specific training day and accompanied by some TTC staffs.

In film story, famous Netherlands TV star Ms.Katja was main performer where she passed through the village and met Hmong women producer group to learn about current project and future market possibility.
